Really nice pen for the..., September 29, 2010
Really nice pen for the price. The nib is similar to a normal felt tip pen since
it's so fine, but it does flex a little to allow for some line variation. It's
fun, different and great for both drawing or writing.

For some reason I thought the tip would have been a bit softer, but it's very
firm. Great for writing, but don't use it with water. I didn't test it out at
first and when my page got wet it began to bleed T_T The ink runs out fast also,
but over all I love the control I have over the pen.

I love these pens for illustration and comic book work. Unlike most brush pens,
the points are very hard. The line is similar to that of an old school Hunt
School nib. They take some getting used to, but are well worth it. Line is a
sort of "medium fine".

Summary: Better for drawing..., October 14, 2011
Summary: Better for drawing fine details than for writing.
When used for writing (even at less than "normal" writing speed), the ink
streaks....plus the super-fine tip sometimes makes an irritating SQUEAK against
the paper. It's like nails on a chalkboard, or like writing with a metal nib
fountain pen without any ink in it.
For drawing fine lines and details, it gets the job done, but there are better
fine/super-fine tip brush pens sold here for about the same price. I like to
make tiny detailed drawings in my little notebook when I'm bored or just playing
around with ideas--and this pen works for non-serious things like that. But I
cannot recommend Sailor Pocket Brush Pen (Super Fine) for anything professional.

This brush pen quickly..., August 22, 2011
This review is from Sailor Pocket Brush Pen - Medium
This brush pen quickly loses its point but is excellent for filling in large
black areas in drawings. It has a nice, even finish that does not blotch or
show streaks when dried.
