This pen produces a VERY extra fine line! I'm an illustrator and would absolutely draw with this pen as well as write.
The line is as fine as Sailor's Desk Fountain Pen, if not even finer! First ink I tried with this pen was Sailor's Nano Blue-Black cartridges. At first there was some skipping. After realizing it wasn't the pen, but rather the ink, I solved the problem. I just dipped the tippity tip of the pen in warm water and viola! The ink flow picked up at once. If your fond of a very fine line then this is the fountain pen for you.

This is the first pen with an extra fine nib that didn't have problems getting started. The line is indeed extra fine. It doesn't feel scratchy even when writing on newsprint. The flow is a bit unpredictable, but I've only used it for a week...and it seems to be becoming more even the more it gets used.

The pen has a good feel in the hand (not too fat), but I wish it had a bit more weight. It compares well to my favorite pen, the Pilot Cavalier. It won't be my number one go-to pen, but it will certainly be in the mix.

Writes a distinct, but very fine line. Unfortunately, for my hand (BIG) it is too light, and a bit too thin.
