These pens do just what they're supposed to. I can't speak to their longevity since I just got them, but I am having a great time using them to address envelopes and postcards. Very bold, glossy looking, fun to have a raised surface. I fear now I have the urge to get all the colors... I do a lot of handmade envelopes, and these are GREAT for really making the address stand out. You do have to wait for the ink to dry, but it doesn't take too long. At 4 bucks for 2 pens, too, the price is quite reasonable.

I love the dimensionality of this pen so much, I have all the colors. It leaves a glossy raised line when dry. I use this black one to accentuate areas of my mixed media art. It glides over all the surfaces I've tried it with. It would be awesome if Sakura would make a finer tipped glaze gel pen in addition to this one.

These pens are the ultimate for outlining. The shine is superb and lasts till the pen runs dry. No skipping.

Really bold lines, the richest black pen you'll ever see. The degree to which it's raised depends on the absorbency of the paper (or whatever else you're using it on). Make sure you give them a few minutes to dry before touching them since they take a while to set. I've used mine both over and under watercolour, no smudging whatsoever. Just a bit thick of a line for some things I'd have liked to try with them.
