DescriptionSpecificationsFrequently Asked Questions
A favorite for craft and art projects, Sakura Glaze pens feature a unique 3-D ink that leaves a glossy raised line you can see and feel! They can write on regular paper as well as non-porous surfaces like plastic, glass, and metal. Use them on translucent or transparent surfaces to create a stained glass effect. The ink is waterproof on most surfaces, water-based, odorless, and AP certified non-toxic.

For best effect, write slowly to allow a thick line of ink to form and allow the ink to dry completely, which takes up to 10 minutes on most surfaces. Because the ink is thick and slow to dry, it is not ideal for extended writing. The raised effect works best on non-porous, clean, smooth surfaces and can be crushed down by pressing on it.

These pens do just what they're supposed to. I can't speak to their longevity since I just got them, but I am having a great time using them to address envelopes and postcards. Very bold, glossy looking, fun to have a raised surface. I fear now I have the urge to get all the colors... I do a lot of handmade envelopes, and these are GREAT for really making the address stand out. You do have to wait for the ink to dry, but it doesn't take too long. At 4 bucks for 2 pens, too, the price is quite reasonable.

These pens are the ultimate for outlining. The shine is superb and lasts till the pen runs dry. No skipping.

Love these! Takes a while for the ink to dry, but the dimension is worth it!

Really bold lines, the richest black pen you'll ever see. The degree to which it's raised depends on the absorbency of the paper (or whatever else you're using it on). Make sure you give them a few minutes to dry before touching them since they take a while to set. I've used mine both over and under watercolour, no smudging whatsoever. Just a bit thick of a line for some things I'd have liked to try with them.
