DescriptionSpecificationsFrequently Asked Questions
A favorite for craft and art projects, Sakura Glaze pens feature a unique 3-D ink that leaves a glossy raised line you can see and feel! They can write on regular paper as well as non-porous surfaces like plastic, glass, and metal. Use them on translucent or transparent surfaces to create a stained glass effect. The ink is waterproof on most surfaces, water-based, odorless, and AP certified non-toxic.

For best effect, write slowly to allow a thick line of ink to form and allow the ink to dry completely, which takes up to 10 minutes on most surfaces. Because the ink is thick and slow to dry, it is not ideal for extended writing. The raised effect works best on non-porous, clean, smooth surfaces and can be crushed down by pressing on it.

This is a great pen for highlighting marker work. I didn't realize at first that the ink needs to dry 100% before it looks white - it comes out clear. Drying time is about 5-8 mins. You need to be careful not to touch it while drying, as it smears fast.

Dries slightly raised, with a pearl-like finish. Over some marker colors, it does not come out perfectly white, most notably reds, but still adds a nice highlight for a finishing touch.

A lot of fun to use!

It is a very nice pen. It makes a beautiful white raised dot or line after it dries.

Good for writing on plastic/metal. That being said, it does also chip off plastic/metal if there's a lot of wear and tear where you 'whited out'. When it goes on, it looks very transparent; just slightly white, but as it dries it becomes quite opaque.
