Bring your manga ideas to life using Sakura's Pigma Sensei drawing pens. Dubbed "Sensei" (means "teacher" in Japanese), these pens help you learn to draw like the pros. The pens draw with the same rich black Pigma pigment ink that manga pros have relied on for years. The ink is archival quality, smear- and feather-resistant, waterproof, chemical proof, and fade-resistant. It also does not bleed through most papers. The pens are perfect for creating your manga and comic illustrations. Use fine point sizes for facial expressions, lettering, and other details, and the bolder lines to create impact or fill in spaces.

This set includes: 0.3 mm ultra-fine tip pen, 0.4 mm durable plastic tip pen, 0.6 mm bullet fiber tip pen, 1.0 bold fiber tip pen, 0.7 mm mechanical pencil, 1.0 mm chisel nib pen, 2.0 mm chisel nib pen, and 3.0 mm chisel nib pen. The pencil has a fixed sleeve that protects the sturdy lead from breakage. The chisel nib pens are great for laying down sharp lines and filling in large spaces.

I was extremely disappointed...

I was extremely disappointed at the incredibly cheap feel of these marker pens and the pencil. They feel similar to those cheap no-brand or Mr. Sketch fine tip markers that you would buy your three-year-old. There is absolutely no weight to them at all. You could probably get the same effect from holding a drinking straw.
However, the lines are very dark and consistent. I have had zero problems with the ink quality. Is the plastic pen component itself that I very much hate.

+ Very dark lines
+ Great consistency

- Very cheap-feeling utensils
- Not the best eraser
- Weightless and difficult to maneuver if you prefer weighty utensils
- Not ergonomic

Overall, I think I'd rather pay more for a better quality of utensil. I won't be buying these again, even if they do write dark. I'll purchase a more expensive marker pen and save myself the cramp!
