DescriptionSpecificationsQuestions & Answers
A favorite for craft and art projects, Sakura Souffle pens feature a unique 3-D ink that leaves a pastel-like raised line you can see and feel! They can write on regular paper as well as non-porous surfaces like plastic, glass, and metal. They can be used on white or colored paper, and their colors stand out particularly well on dark surfaces. The ink is waterproof on most surfaces, water-based, odorless, and AP certified non-toxic.

For best effect, write slowly to allow a thick line of ink to form and allow the ink to dry completely, which can take up to 10 minutes on most surfaces. Because the ink is thick and slow to dry, it is not ideal for extended writing. The raised effect works best on non-porous, clean, smooth surfaces and can be crushed down by pressing on it.

This is a pack of 2 Light Green pens.

I bought this pen pack to make Halloween cards using colored card stock. It pretty well worked as expected, and it seems to be water proof, as advertised. It is necessary to write slowly and with a steady hand to make it puff properly, but I didn't need much practice to get the hang of it. The tone of the green appeared to change with the color of card stock used. I thought it looked the best on orange, which gave it more of a natural, chlorophyll toned green. It looked more like slime green on the pink, which was fine for Halloween. I will note that it does use up quite a lot of ink to make writing puffy; so the fact that they are sold in packs of 2 makes considerable sense!

This was a really good pen. The color of the ink was more dark green than light but that was fine. The ink really feels 3D and it helps a lot if you write slow. Depending on how much you're writing, it takes about 2 minutes to dry. I gave it 4 stars because of the color. I thought it would be the same color as the cap.
