DescriptionSpecificationsQuestions & Answers
Due to its slim profile, the Seed Ruflat eraser is not only portable, it is always ready with a corner which comes in handy for precisely erasing small areas. The holder's clamps keep the eraser securely in place, preventing breaks and wobbles as you erase. The eraser is extended by moving the slider to loosen the clamps, pulling the eraser out, then returning the slider to its original position to fix the eraser in place.

Dimensions with eraser retracted: 3.5 x 0.6 x 0.2 inches (8.9 x 1.6 x 0.6 cm)

On the whole, this is an okay eraser. However, I am used to the better erasers such as the Uni-Ball Enock eraser and Hinodewashi Matomaru-kun Eraser. If you want to buy a stick eraser, go with the Enock. The Ruflat Eraser doesn't erase well; in other words it leaves behind much of the lead (I used B-2B lead).

The eraser itself is surprisingly very hard. It erasers fine, though there is a good chance it may break. I originally bought it for erasing pencil lines on my drawings, but now it is for my writing; since it works MUCH better erasing in SMALL sections.

Although it does erase, it is very harsh on the paper. The earaser itself is also very hard and i've had it break on me various different times...

I started using these for Kanji in my Japanese class, but now I use them for EVERYTHING. I love this eraser. About 1 in 4 has a bad grip on the eraser, however, so if you get a bad one, don't hesitate to return it or replace it. If you're doing super detailed work, look into the SEED slendy, as well!
