Wow! Beautiful to look...

Wow! Beautiful to look at and ultra-comfortable to write with. No time wasted searching for a comfortable grip. You're ready to go when you pick it up. I think the short 2nd step on the nose coupled with a no-slip grip that's neither too wide or thin lend to the high level of comfort, and whether I hold it high on the grip for drawing lines or low, close to the tip for writing meticulously small which I do often, it always feels one with the hand. It's balanced weight also helps and the all aluminum finish gives it class and durability. 2 thumbs up!

The Staedtler 925-25-03 is my second favorite for its comfort and precision (my favorite is the Rotring 600). The width is ideal, and the weight is balanced. However, the cap tends to rattle when I'm writing small characters quickly (perhaps I'm pushing hard under pressure, but this isn't a problem I have with the Rotring). Nevertheless, I can see the Staedtler 925 being chosen above the Rotring and viceversa. They are both wonderful pencils.

Solid pencil. Unfortunately, the one I received seemed to have issues with the lead advancement. It works just fine, but there is no "click" when press it down. Also, the cap is pretty loose. However, despite all this, the pencil works flawlessly. I own the other 925-25s in the other sizes and they all work flawlessly. I probably just got a bad one.
