What a perfect little pen for fine detailing. I'm happiest with this brand for many, many reasons. Staedtler has outdone copic multiliners by proving a disposable pen doesn't have to intermittently produce enough ink in order to draw a straight line.

This pen has lasted me 2 weeks, but those 14 days were filled with hours of obsessive inking. My worry was whether the pen would last long enough for me to finish my art homework, and it did! The lines were wonderfully thin and the ink was always consistent. This pen works beautifully for its intended purpose.

My only complaint would be the shade of black. Its not quite as dark as I might have wished for when compared to Copic or Le Pen. But Its not a real bother :) In sum, I'll now be using this pen for my future inking endeavors <3

Just started using Field Notes(R) brand note books for my organizer / planner / weekly/daily calendar. I thought I might like pens narrower than the Staedtler Triplus Fineliner 0.3mm pens for creating structure on grid and dot-grid pages, so ordered this Staedtler 0.05mm Pigment Liner. Tip is VERY teeny, so I'll need to write lightly (and Try not to drop it!!). Not sure yet whether I'll prefer the 0.05mm or the 0.1mm

I had a lot of fun with this pen. It writes sooo fine, but you have to use the lightest of pressure. Don't push on it like a ballpoint. I wrote it dry in about a year.

This pen writes the skinniest of the 8 different "fiber dome" permanent pens I have ordered from Jet Pens. I use it for tiny writing in my 3x5 inch pocket planner and also for note taking. It works great on paper, with no bleed-through.

One odd feature is that it will not dry out and stop writing if left uncapped and unused, so sporadic note-taking is no problem.

This pen is now my every-day carry. It writes on most surfaces, including glass and plastic, so it's great for writing prices on unpriced groceries.

The Staedler Permanent Lumocolor shares the no-dryout and write-anywhere feature, but is bad for paper -- it has 100% soak-through. The Lumocolor is the best pen for writing on photos, whether front or back -- the ink does not transfer picture-to-picture. This "Liner" pen will write on photos but some ink does transfer if you stack the photos.
