This is the best pen of its type. The pigment liner creates a uniform, smooth line and seems to have much more ink that its competitors (I'm talking to you Micron!) I will go through 3 microns before I'd exhaust this tour-de-force of tech pens.

You will save money in the long run, using this over the Microns. I also find the tip on Staedtler's to be more resilient and long lasting. I am a product designer and need pens that have a precise line and last. THIS IS THE ONE. I have stopped looking for replacements, they never measure up.

This pen is great! However if you are looking at these types of pens I would rather much go with the Sakura micron pens.

This is a replacement for a worn out 0.5 that I had used quite a bit. I like the smaller tip for detail work.
