This is an outstanding..., May 16, 2013
This review is from Stipula Calamo Fountain Pen Ink - 70 ml Bottle - Musk Green
This is an outstanding ink, one of my very favorites. It flows well, does not
dry out on the nib, has beautiful shading (with wider than Fine nibs), and does
not feather on decent paper. The color is unique and I find it very appealing. I
would classify it as being in the "olive" family.
The bottle is sturdy and nice enough, but nothing special IMHO, and the dark
glass is not necessary if one keeps the bottle in the box.
The price for 70 ml is a reasonable price for ink, and may be even a good deal,
given the quality and uniqueness of color of the ink.
Highly recommended.

The color of Stipula..., August 22, 2012
This review is from Stipula Calamo Fountain Pen Ink - 70 ml Bottle - Musk Green
The color of Stipula Verde Muschiato is that of dried moss, a little more brown
than green. It is a color that works well for business, correspondence, and
sketching. It certainly isn't vivid and won't draw attention. Look elsewhere for
eye-popping color. I like it best with a medium to wide nib and have found it to
be very well-behaved on a wide range of paper quality.
If you use pens with large nibs, the Stipula bottle could be an advantage. The
opening is a full inch and the bottle height is over three inches. Once you've
used the Stipula ink, save the bottle to decant inks from less versatile
bottles. This one is a keeper.

So, the bottle is awesome..., July 25, 2012
This review is from Stipula Calamo Fountain Pen Ink - 70 ml Bottle - Musk Green
So, the bottle is awesome for storing the ink long-term and you get a LOT of ink
here. The color on this baby really depends on the paper you use more than most
inks I've used. It can be hard to tell this ink apart from black, and that's not
really the point of buying spendy ink, is it? Even at best, that is, at its most
green, it looks kind of pea-soupy, not the aged green that I was really hoping
for. Overall, I'm kind of disappointed.
