This is almost my perfect..., February 11, 2012
This review is from Stipula Passaporto Fountain Pen - Fine Nib - Clear Body
This is almost my perfect pen. It's easy to carry (though some people will miss
the clip- at least the feather emblem prevents rolling off of a flat surface),
holds a ton of ink as an eye-dropper, and the fine nib writes beautifully. Many
European makers have trouble creating a true fine-point that is narrow and
smooth, but I found this to perform better than most (certainly more narrow than
lamy and pelikan). The pen is comfortable to write with, even with my long
fingers. Overall, it's like a very high end version of a pilot petit1. My only
complaint is that bouncing around in my pocket, a decent amount of ink collected
in the cap - never leaked beyond the seal, but could be messy when opened.

I thought I would offset..., December 24, 2011
This review is from Stipula Passaporto Fountain Pen - Fine Nib - Black Body
I thought I would offset the other review since his review was not warranted
either. You should not give a product a poor review if you do not have
experience with the product. I don't believe "checking them out at a store"
constitutes knowledge of the product.
I am not saying I know about the pen I just wanted to offset a poor review with
a great review since neither are qualified reviews.

I've had this pen for..., December 31, 2012
This review is from Stipula Passaporto Fountain Pen - Fine Nib - Black Body
I've had this pen for six years now, so long that the one I have has slightly
different trim, and it's still working beautifully. It has never leaked and can
write for weeks before being refilled. The ink flows quickly and the nib does
not clog. My only "complaint" is that due to its size I tend to misplace it.

I bought two of these..., August 22, 2012
This review is from Stipula Passaporto Fountain Pen - Fine Nib - Black Body
I bought two of these pens from a different source and, looking at the price, I
realize now that I should have looked around a bit more. JetPens has the best
price by a fair margin.
I agree with both other reviews. Yes it is a bit scratchy in the nib and the ink
flow isn't the wettest line, but, to me, both of those are an advantage. I enjoy
the feedback I get from the nib/paper contact. Until I started into fountain
pens I used pencils and have grown accustomed to having that resistance and
"scratch" of a fine tip on paper. I am a left handed writer and the lines are
plenty bold without being saturated and, with an average drying ink, I do not
smear as I write. That is a huge relief as I had, in the past, required turning
the page upside down and writing that way for a clean paper.
All in all it is a wonderful pen at a great price. Five stars the whole way.
