Sun-Star SharPits Lead Holder - 2 mm - 2B - Light Green

Pretty good introductory lead holder for kids or a suitable addition to a travel sketching kit. At their value price point, it wouldn't be too painful to replace them in case of loss. They have a 3-jaws metal clutch that hold the lead securely for precise writing and drawing performance. The lightweight plastic barrel feels a tad cheap, but it should hold up to moderate wear and tear. Nothing rattles and advance mechanism performs smoothly. Its B lead is quite smooth, dark, and quite resistant to smudging. Going to have to try the 2B leads once they come back in stock. Rougher kids might snap it in two though.
