The TWSBI Precision exudes sophistication and craftsmanship. Its body design is stylish as well as functional: the hexagonal body keeps the pencil from rolling away, and the softly knurled grip section provides stability and control without hurting your fingertips. All-metal construction of the inner tubing and outer body gives the pencil great weight and balance, without being heavy. Beneath the push button cap is a convenient super-long eraser.

This pencil features a retractable lead sleeve, protecting the lead sleeve as well as your pockets and other belongings when the pencil is not in use.

The pencil comes with an eraser and several leads installed, plus an additional 12 leads and 3 eraser refills. For protection, the pencil and accessories are packaged in a plastic box. This cardboard box is fragile and may get crumpled during shipping.

Nice grip, heft and hand...

Nice grip, heft and hand feel. The long eraser is also a nice feature. But, the feed is a frustrating dud. The lead frequently breaks off inside the feed. You can tell it has broken b/c it keeps sliding back into the feed. You pull it out and click a million times to get the next piece out. You count on this occurrence several times a day. Or, at least with mine you can. This does not happen with my Graphgear 1000 or Rotring Rapid Pro either of which I would strongly recommend over this pencil.

nice looking pencil. but why someone purchases a pencil is to use said pencil. The lead breakage is unbelievable. I have .3mm pencils that break 1/10th the time this one does. I've tried different hardness levels from 2B to B to HB to 2H, so that means i've spent about another $10 trying to find lead to work in here, with out any avail. Do not purchase. I think the people that have given it a high rating haven't used it extensively. I started engineering school this semester and this was suppose to be my pencil and I was super excited for it, after Using it for the first couple days and trying to figure out the lead situation, it now has a permanent home on my desk. I'm back to my uni alpha gel slim-- and my KURU TOGA's ..

This pencil feels excellent in the hand, I love the weight and balance, but it does seem to break more leads than some others. I tend to prefer my Rotring 600, but it is very close. This is a great pencil.

A wonderful package of a mechanical pencil with everything a mechanical pencil of its price should have (somewhat of a knurled grip, metal body, retractable sleeve, a super long eraser I swear you could use as a slingshot pellet, and comes with a nice case, a pack of erasers and lead), but the clicking mechanism feels a bit weird ... no squeaky?

Other than that quirk, an otherwise solid pencil. It is a solid choice but compared to other mechanical pencils of the same price range, I guess I expected a bit too much from this pencil.
