Pack of three School model nibs from Tachikawa.

Comic nibs are famous for producing strong and crisp lines that are difficult to duplicate with pens and brushes. They are great for creating detail in drawings. Varying nib sizes are available to suit your drawing needs. Each nib should be used with a nib holder.

These are very nice nibs!...

These are very nice nibs! I got them to draw with and I'm very happy with them. The nib is rather stiff, so there's not much line variation but I'm fine with that. They're very smooth to draw with and they don't skip or snag the paper even though they're brand new.

Great lines, I actually use them more than the G Pen nibs.

Tested with Higgins Eternal on bristol board. This nib is a little shorter and stiffer than their G model. You can get about the same line variations except the swells aren't as wide. It's just as scratchy as the G and moves around about the same, quite nicely. Also, the ink holding and flow off the nib seem the same as the G. If you can handle the scratch this would be a good nib for writing (is that why it's the school model?). I even popped this into my oblique holder and it handled well. It's just not ideal for pointed pen script due to the narrower swells. It's a well made nib. There's just nothing that special about it to me. Unless you like a stiffer pen and don't need the thicker lines, I think you could safely skip this one.
