Nice dark line, very precise controlled line, excellent price compared to other re-fill type fountain pens. This is my favorite fountain pen by far.

The ink stopped flowing through the nib within a couple of days of use. Nothing I have tried has gotten this pen to start writing again. Any suggestions would be welcome as I loved it when it first arrived.

I was happy to see that you carried the linemaker pens. I love them. They write beautifully on a wide variety of surfaces. I just recently bought 3 of these pens at a local art store and was amazed at the price you sell yours. I paid $25.00 a piece for mine. I just recently misplaced my 0.5mm and can't live without it. When I saw your price of just $13.50 I had to pruchase one and another one in case I lose the first. Thank you for your reasonable prices, great selections, and incredible fast shipping. Neena Alter

A very interesting pen with excellent smoothness that belies its modest price.

Please note that I've determined that Platinum Fountain Pen Dye-Based Ink Cartridges fit this pen and are able to provide good ink flow. Also, I've found that by using a Platinum cartridge, excess ink can be rinsed completely out of the wick and the rest of the pen section, even if the pen has been left for a few days and the ink has started to dry. I see the Platinum cartridge as a good solution to the permanent clogging problem caused by this pen's OEM ink, as mentioned in other posts.

I'm no fan of how this pen delivers ink from cartridge to nib, but by using the Platinum cartridges, the pen will tolerate normal use and will live to write another day.

Ok, I know that this might be self evident BUT I DO NOT speak Japanese. Also videos showing the ink filling and cartridge use along with other helpful hints will keep those of us that want to try something new coming back again. Until then I will evaluate the pen as I use it...

that is if I can get the dumb cartridge on with out turning my fingers black. Now where's my surgical gloves?
