The Tombow AirPress series leverages the energy from each push of the cap to inject air pressure into the ink cartridge, thus allowing the pen to write on challenging surfaces. The original AirPress has a durable hard rubber body ideal for construction employees or people working outdoors. The new AirPress Apro is targeted to indoor individuals who wear "aprons" or lab coats such as doctors, nurses, cooks, waitresses, home caretakers/cleaners, etc. It still has the same ability to write at extreme angles, upside down, on wet paper, and in cold temperatures, making it an ideal writing companion to those working in busy environments. For example, a cook can quickly write down ingredients on a damp paper spotted with sauce using the Tombow AirPress Apro. It is similar to the Uni-ball Power Tank Ballpoint Pen, except that this pen ingeniously uses the retraction method to create air pressure.

The pen includes a few nice features to make life easier. It has a lock that allows you to prevent the tip from coming out while it is in your pocket. The push clip has a bumpy surface to grip onto fabric better and can expand up to 12 mm wide, allowing you to click the pen onto thick objects. Lastly, the "knock" or retractable function is quiet, suitable for professional environments.

Nib size: 0.7 mm
Pen dimensions: 125 mm length x 24 mm diameter at top clip (11.5 mm diameter at tip)

A good writing pen that fits in the hand well. Can't say it seems any better than the Uni Power Tank, but has been working just as well for me -- quite a compliment ! I work labeling medical samples and need different color pens for the various replicates. These give me a bit of variety while still writing well on a variety of difficult surfaces.

Very cute & small pen. Nice pink plastic barrel. The ink refill is only about 1 1/2 long so buy extra if you plan on using this pen a lot. Writes great and comfortable to hold even without a cushion grip. The clip does open wide, but it's not very strong. It will slide off of your shirt pretty easily. Still love it and would buy again.

I wasn't sure about this clip style because I'm use to an unmovable clip but I really love it for work. I work in retail and I need to write things down all day long and it's easier to keep it on my shirt vs putting in my pocket or keeping it in a cup holder. Whenever I let anyone else use they say they tell me how much they like it and then I quickly take it back.

This is an adorable pen, and it fits really well in my small purse, but I'm not crazy about the way it writes. It's a thin line, but it skips a little and is a little scratchy. It's probably the way I write: lots of pens with good reviews don't work for me, and lots of pens with bad reviews work well for me. I'm keeping it in my purse for times when I need to take a quick note, but this is more for the size and the ability to write upside down because of the pressurized ink than for the quality
