Just received this Pen,..., March 7, 2013
Just received this Pen, and it is as represented. Cool looking pen, has very
good clip and ergonomics. I only gave it 3 stars due to the poor quality of the
cartridge that came in the pen. It is scratchy, and hard to write with,
something like using a bottle of ink and a nail to write with. I have looked,
and apparently the refill cannot be changed in this pen. Perhaps this is due to
the pressurized design. In any event, I will definitely carry this pen with me
on my next moon landing, as I am sure it will write as badly on the moon as it
does on earth. If all you are concerned with is having a funky different looking
pen than this is the one for you to get. If you want something that writes
well, I would suggest you look elsewhere.

Great pen, especially..., March 7, 2012
Great pen, especially in rugged conditions. I often left it in the car
overnight in sub-freezing temperatures, and it always wrote well. It came in
especially handy for making notes on a vertical notepad; it did not run dry like
most pens do. The clip is durable, and lets you carry the pen clipped to a
jeans pocket with no problem. It is good to keep this pen in your pocket when
not in use, because people will steal this pen. My next one will be the bright
orange one.

I really like the design..., January 19, 2012
This review is from Tombow AirPress Ballpoint Pen - 0.7 mm - Clear Body
I really like the design and size of this pen, and it really will write on just
about anything, but the ink glops. If I paused while taking notes, the first
stroke of the next word I wrote began with an ink blob. When I used the pen the
first thing in the morning, the first stroke had a big blob.
I loaded the blue refill that I purchased with the pen to see if the problem was
the black refill shipped with the pen. It didn't seem to produce as many blobs,
but it wasn't a clean line like my Fischer space pen cartridges.
Too bad. I really like the concept of the pen and really like the design, but I
can't take the smudges.

I have used this pen..., November 8, 2011
This review is from Tombow AirPress Ballpoint Pen - 0.7 mm - Black Body
I have used this pen for over two years as a waiter and it has never failed me
on the job. I have had to replace the pen once due to my rough treatment of it,
but faithfully bought the same model.
This pen can be used to write in any position, and does not clog or produce that
blotchy gunk on paper when writing with it for the first time in a while (a
problem common with cheap ballpoints). While I have never tested it completely
submerged under water, it is very capable of writing on wet paper; very handy
for waiters who haven't had time to dry their hands.
Aesthetically and ergonomically, it is a very practical design. The clip is
perfect for clipping to notebooks and aprons, and it grips quite tightly. The
knocker has a resistant click (from pressurizing the chamber) that may take time
to get used to, but is in no way difficult to engage. The pen is rather short,
so if you have big hands, be prepared to experience this issue.
Finally, be careful not to overtighten the tip when replacing the ink cartridge,
as it is easy to strip the threads.
