DescriptionSpecificationsFrequently Asked Questions
Tombow's Dual Brush pens are available in a dazzling array of colors, and are appreciated by fine artists and crafters alike for good reason. They are wonderful for illustrating, drawing, rubberstamping, and other artistic endeavors. Each pen has two tips—a high-quality, flexible nylon fiber brush tip and a fine bullet tip. Use the brush tip to create fine, medium, and broad strokes. It is resilient, retaining its point even after extensive use. For consistent fine lines, the sturdy fine tip is ideal. The water-based ink blends easily with other colors, and it is acid-free, non-toxic, and odorless. The colorless blender is useful for softening colors or blending colors together.

This Primary set contains 10 pens: 055 Process Yellow, 925 Scarlet, 847 Crimson, 245 Sap Green, 346 Sea Green, 476 Cyan, 565 Deep Blue, 879 Brown, N15 Black, and N00 Colorless Blender.

I bought these to fill in color in my Moleskine Sketchbook. I did not want watercolors or anything that would bleed through the paper, but I wanted a brush type pen, so even though these are a little pricy, I gave them a try. I am glad I did! They do not bleed through the Moleskine Sketchbook pages and I have used them quite a bit in a variety of sketches. The colors are very basic and work well for what I use them for. The tips are smooth and the color flows perfectly. This is a must have for anyone wanting to add little splashes of color to their sketches.

I love the bright colors and the tips don't seem to mash down as soon as you use them once or twice.

I like these pens for stamping on acrylic stamps. They are not water proof so keep in mind when using. I like them for lettering as well. Love the fact that they don't smell and you have the brush pen and liner pen in one.

These are a lot of fun, and I think they're going to be my "go to" color brush pens, at least when I don't want to deal with the potential mess of real brushes. Blending takes some practice and patience but it works.

I've been combining these with liquid watercolor paints, and the result is encouraging.

These are SO MUCH FUN. I'm still learning how to use them well, but I'm having a great time experimenting with them for calligraphy and stamp coloring.
