Tombow Kay Coat Double-Sided Fluorescent Highlighter Pen - Tea Brown
This highlighter isn't quite like tea, but it's still a very unique color. It
has a slight reddish tint to the lightish brown. The color is not overpowering,
like the purple version, but stronger than the yellow ocher.
By the way, you can make a cool burnt apple color by overlapping the salmon red
with the tea brown. Overlapping the yellow ocher with the brown makes a light
wood brown color. Two coats of purple and one of brown makes plum.

Tombow Kay Coat Double-Sided Fluorescent Highlighter Pen - Tea Brown
So amazed by the colour, it reminds me of... tea. haha. The other end is really
thin too, like the size of my 0.5mm pen. Like the other review said it feels
like it has a lot of ink in the beginning.

Tombow Kay Coat Double-Sided Fluorescent Highlighter Pen - Tea Brown
I really like the color of the highlighter. its really pretty and its light
brick+light brown color. The barrel is really pretty too. At first there seemed
to be too much ink but after highlighting about 5 pages the ink flow was like
the other highlighters.

Tombow Kay Coat Double-Sided Fluorescent Highlighter Pen - 10 Color Set
Jetpens offers a wonderful array of highlighters to choose from. I have had the
pleasure of using every single one (to date except for the new Monami they added
this week which is what I am ordering now) and love most of them. The Tombow Kay
coat happen to be my least favorite. While I understand why some people will
love them for nice color selection or even the quality of ink and the decent
flow they produce. But the aspect I dislike about them can't make up for their
positive qualities in my opinion. The tips are surrounded by metal to reinforce
them I guess but it makes it so you have to be at a very precise angle in order
to make a decent line. It makes it very challenging to enjoy using.
One of the great things about these highlighters is they are refillable. Jetpens
does not carry the charging stations as of now and I am not sure if they ever
will but they are out there. If you are familiar with the Staedtler Textsurfer
refilling sysetm they sell on this site it is very similar to that. While I am
not suggesting you should purchase other items from a competitor that Jetpens
carries I do think it is ethical to suggest Writers Bloc as the store you can
get refills to these highlighters. I am also OK suggesting that here becasue you
would be crazy to buy anything else from there due ti their outrageous shipping
charges, limited choice in products, and delayed shipping times. All of which
Jetpens does perfectly. However you can at least use them to get your refill
stations.

Tombow Kay Coat Double-Sided Fluorescent Highlighter Pen - 10 Color Set
I have every highlighter offered on Jetpens and like almost everyone. This set
though stand out above most others. The colors are great and the ink flow is
perfect. The ink is a little wet for really thin paper but all of the textbooks
I have used these highlighters with seem to be fine. Great choice for a unique
highlighter set.

Tombow Kay Coat Double-Sided Fluorescent Highlighter Pen - 10 Color Set
The colours are really vibrant, easy to use, very precise. The only bad comment
that I could make is that sometimes too much ink goes on the paper, but I
remarked that this happens when I leave the cap open for a little time. So don't
let these highlighters wait open. Also, be careful if you put the cap on the
other side of the pen while you're writing, it's sensible to your movement and
can swing to the other way of the class (already happened to me)
But nice appearance, don't take too much place, very beautiful colours and also
it's nice to have two size of tips.
I recommend these.

Tombow Kay Coat Double-Sided Fluorescent Highlighter Pen - Blue
A really well made highlighter with a sturdy reinforced chisel tip and a strong
fine tip. This one will really make the cleanest lines you'll ever see from a
highlighter :) Unfortunately the blue color was a little darker than I was
expecting -- definitely NOT pastel, but not too dark for the words (it's not as
bad as the blue sharpie highlighter ink!)

Tombow Kay Coat Double-Sided Fluorescent Highlighter Pen - 10 Color Set
I really like these! I use them for my notes to write on PowerPoint print-outs.
I absolutely love the little "guides" on the sides of the highlighter tips.
They eliminate the problem of the tip breaking/cracking (happens a lot with
cheaper generic highlighters). My only gripe is that many of the colors are so
light that using the fine-tip to write with is simply silly, because you can't
see them on white paper! They are still a high-quality item and work very well
and perform exactly as described. The colors are vibrant. I think they even
get brighter as they dry (especially the green)!

Tombow Kay Coat Double-Sided Fluorescent Highlighter Pen - 10 Color Set
These are great highlighters. I originally bought a single one, loved how smooth
and bright it was, and decided I should invest in the whole set. Well worth the
money in my opinion. I have mostly used the broad end for highlighting purposes
but having the other fine point tip is a nice bonus if I ever need it.

Tombow Kay Coat Double-Sided Fluorescent Highlighter Pen - Salmon Red
As I mentioned in another Kay Coat highlighter review (the purple one), these
highlighters have great thin tips. The broad edge isn't as awesome.
I had to write a review for this color in particular, though, because it's
AMAZING. I love this color! It's a hot pink with a slight orange tint. It's a
little too fluorescent to be called salmon, but it's still gorgeous.
BUY IT NOW. You'll find yourself finding reasons to use it... everywhere...

The best part about this...,
September 10, 2012
This review is from
Tombow Kay Coat Double-Sided Fluorescent Highlighter Pen - Purple
The best part about this highlighter is the thin tip. Unlike other double-sided
highlighters, the Tombow Kay Coat's thin tip is very durable. Usually, you have
to be careful when using such fragile tips-- it's very easy to squash them and
consequently ruin the little nib. However, this highlighter's thin tip resists
squashing, making it very reliable.
I tested this with the Uni-ball Propus Window. Compared to the solid Tombow, the
Uni-ball's tip was weaker, and was squished slightly to one side, changing its
width.
The broad tip isn't as handy. It's hard to make a consistent line with them. You
have to place the flat edge against the paper at just the right degree to get
the full line. It's not easy to use.
The color is a very appealing purple, but it's too dark for me. While some may
consider this boldness a positive trait, the dark color makes it hard to read
highlighted text written in dark ink.

Tombow Kay Coat Double-Sided Fluorescent Highlighter Pen - Purple
Awesome highlighter! This has got to be the first time I've been in love with a
highlighter.
The caps attach to each other both ways, which is great. The ink is purple,
without being too dark. Also, the highlighter pen is awesome for arrows and
little notes.

Fantastic. . . The number one thing this highlighter does that many others
don't. . . It highlights several fountain pen ink writing samples I had close by
when first it arrived. I'm in heaven now, but will have to get some more colors!
Yippee another chance to order from JetPens!

Tombow Kay Coat Double-Sided Fluorescent Highlighter Pen - Salmon Red
Another wonderful highlighter. The color is indeed salmon, which is sort of a
light red/pink color. So do not expect a true red. The color is beautiful and is
a very unique color for a highlighter, which is why I like it. The duel ends are
very useful, and I always have this with me.

Tombow Kay Coat Double-Sided Fluorescent Highlighter Pen - Purple
This has to be the best highlighter I've ever purchased. Not only are both tips
high quality, they don't cause bleeding (even on cheap or standard quality
paperback paper). Unlike, most highlighters, this one does not cause smearing on
documents printed with an inkjet printer. Definitely 5 stars!

Tombow Kay Coat Double-Sided Fluorescent Highlighter Pen - Yellow Ocher
I think the color is more lighter and slightly more flourescent than the
picture. but it is really really pretty light orange with yellow mixed in it. I
absolutely love the color. the color is very very close to the cream yellow by
Pilot spotliter 2, but the ink flow is little more heavier and the thinner side
of the tip seems very strong, which I like.
