The best part about this...

The best part about this highlighter is the thin tip. Unlike other double-sided highlighters, the Tombow Kay Coat's thin tip is very durable. Usually, you have to be careful when using such fragile tips-- it's very easy to squash them and consequently ruin the little nib. However, this highlighter's thin tip resists squashing, making it very reliable.

I tested this with the Uni-ball Propus Window. Compared to the solid Tombow, the Uni-ball's tip was weaker, and was squished slightly to one side, changing its width.

The broad tip isn't as handy. It's hard to make a consistent line with them. You have to place the flat edge against the paper at just the right degree to get the full line. It's not easy to use.

The color is a very appealing purple, but it's too dark for me. While some may consider this boldness a positive trait, the dark color makes it hard to read highlighted text written in dark ink.

Awesome highlighter!...

Awesome highlighter! This has got to be the first time I've been in love with a highlighter.

The caps attach to each other both ways, which is great. The ink is purple, without being too dark. Also, the highlighter pen is awesome for arrows and little notes.

I NEED MORE OF THESE!

Wonderful highlighter....

Wonderful highlighter. Great color, and the duel ends make it wonderful for writing in my textbooks. I use it for pretty much everything.

This has to be the best...

This has to be the best highlighter I've ever purchased. Not only are both tips high quality, they don't cause bleeding (even on cheap or standard quality paperback paper). Unlike, most highlighters, this one does not cause smearing on documents printed with an inkjet printer. Definitely 5 stars!

Fantastic highlighter!...

Fantastic highlighter! Bold color, smooth lines and love having two options of line thickness. Also dries relatively fast so no smearing. Great buy!
