Tombow Mono 2way Correction Tape + Eraser - 5 mm X 6 m - Green Body

I've noticed that these things have sold out already and still have no reviews for them. Oh well.

This thing is crack fuel for my stationery addiction. It's got a freakin' eraser on one end and a correction tape on the other! It's like antimatter for a 2-in-1 pen-pencil! I've never seen anything like it, and it's handier than carrying a bottle of white-out and a jumbo eraser.

The thing (you could probably tell from the pictures) is made of plastic. The fact that the tape is retractable is absolutely amazing, since I don't have to worry about losing the caps to my correction tape anymore. The tape covers smoothly (unlike other tapes) and although it's a bit more yellow-ish compared to the paper, it has pretty wide coverage for small to medium handwriting sizes.

The eraser side is eh. I like the twist mechanism, but the eraser is pretty short and gets used up pretty easily. However, once twisted to place, the eraser stays put even with some pretty hard pressure. The twist ring (the pink ring) however, still twists pretty easily. The eraser erases well and quite lightly. There's not that much annoying dust, but it doesn't erase fully. There are subtle ghosts of the pencil from before, but that's usually if you press hard with a death grip (like me). That puts this eraser ahead of most.

I haven't used this enough to need a refill, but just press on the white tabs on the side (they have thumb indentations) and the plastic should come off. Lift the tape component off vertically from the base and then replace. The eraser is replaced simply by twisting out the eraser fully and pulling out then pushing a new one in.

My only gripe about this thing is how fat it is. Seriously, it's an obese submarine compared to the plethora of skinny pens and pencils I have! It fills up pencil cases inefficiently, so I kind of wish there was a skinnier version (even if it meant extending the length), especially with the size of the small eraser.

Still, get this thing. Then get the refill with it. You will love it.

WOW! I'm surprised that no one has written a reveiw on this yet! First of all, this completely exceeded my expectations. The transition when pressing the white out from the mechanism is extremely smooth. There is no scraping, scratching, or rubbing. The white out is also very effective and sticks to the paper well. The eraser is also very high quality. Overall, you will have no regrets if you buy this amazing product!
