Those of us who often use both pen and pencil (or a pen + pencil multi pen!) will find that the Tombow Mono 2way Correction Tape + Eraser is the perfect all-in-one correction tool. One end has a slide-out correction tape head, while the other has a twist-out eraser. Both can be retracted when not in use, ensuring protection against damage. The correction tape and eraser are refillable.
Dimensions: 4.0 x 0.9 x 0.7 inches (10.3 x 2.3 x 1.9 cm).
I take notes in math class with the Uni Jetstream Multi Pen that includes a
pencil so in concept, a correction tape/eraser tool is perfect. Unfortunately
this item didn't live up to my expectations.
The tape is smooth and corrects quite nicely but sometimes it does not stick to
the paper and I have to use my finger to press it down before writing over it.
I do give it a 4/5 on strength so I can write over it with slightly less
pressure and it does not tear. The replacement is very easy- the case removes
easily and it is a matter of popping out and the used up tape holder and placing
the new one on top.
The eraser erases quite well however it does not last long; definitely buy
replacements when buying this product. The replacement is not easy- I had to
pry the eraser out of its holder by using tweezers and I made a mess because it
kept cutting up the eraser into little shreds.
Pros: Retractable ends, quality tape, quality eraser, ease of use, nice fit in
hand, easy replacement of correction tape, perfect for someone that needs an
eraser but will not use it a lot compared to the tape.
Cons: Eraser does not last long, replacement of eraser not easy
I hope Tombow improves this product because it has great potential.
Love that it's all-in-one, refillable and that everything about it is superior
to common American store brand correcting tape and erasers. Every other
correcting tape I've had to press down the tape once in a while. So easy to
replace the tape. Haven't had to replace the eraser. I don't really use pencil
so even if it's a pain like the other reviewer said I'd have to replace so
rarely I wouldn't care.
