DescriptionSpecificationsQuestions & Answers
If you've ever taken a pen on the go, you know how different characteristics of the pen affect its portability. The shape, size, clip strength, etc. all determine whether or not the pen is still with you by the end of the day. The Tombow OnBook addresses exactly that issue with its handy-dandy (and don't forget friendly) ballpoint pen. The pen features a strong, thin metal clip that fits into narrow spaces such as notebook bindings, and the pen protrudes a mere 2 mm above the clip so that it won't snag or hit things. The slightly triangular body stays flush against your notebook or book without rolling.

To change refills:
To change the refill, remove the pen tip by unscrewing it. Then, pull out the old refill and insert the new refill. Screw the pen tip back on. If the tip does not fit properly, it may be because the refill was not pushed in all the way.

This is a no-nonsense pen. It works. There literally is nothing more to say than this: if you would like to upgrade from the twelve pack bics and just use one pen over and over again, this is your pen to choose. Clip it, use it, refill it, rinse, lather, repeat, rinse, lather, repeat. It's that simple. Its not a JOY to use, but that is never stated as being true. It's there when you need it. And that is truly special.

Excellent pen for using...

Excellent pen for using with a Moleskine notebook (even better than Moleskine's own, IMHO). I bought this pen thinking it would be a good thing to try with my notebook, and I was right. Excellent fine line with a good grip for long note-taking sessions. Sturdy clip holds it onto the spine of the notebook without harming it at all.

The release mechanism involves a small button inside near the clip, which closes the pen once depressed - you don't have to remember to close it, as it automatically does so on its own.

All in all, an excellent slender pen for taking along on trips when you'll be documenting things in a small notebook or Moleskine. :)
