DescriptionSpecificationsQuestions & Answers
The squishy soft grip of the Alpha gels are so addictive that Uniball has been multiplying its line like bunnies. All other comfy grips seem like hard rubber compared to an Alpha gel. It is the same gel that is famous for keeping an egg from breaking even when dropped from a 5 ft height.

This pencil has a SHAKER option. You can either click or shake the pencil to extend the lead. Just change the setting by pushing the top cap all the way down to transform it into a shaker pencil. So now you can squish, shake and click your way through class and/or work.

This is my 4th Alpha Gel Pencils...The second time I bought this model...

Comfortable to write with

Balanced Weight

Helps you write for a longer time

When I got it the grip was firm so I "made" it squishy(Had to keep squishing the grip and soaking it in hot water)

Gel Grip can rip easily

People say they will just borrow from you in class but they damage it and try to keep it for themselves and they never give it back(This happened when I bought the Green model)

Make sure not to take off the pencil tip because the black thing that holds the lead can fall out and will permanently damage the pencil(Lead falls out randomly...have to tilt pencil sideways if you want lead)(Happened when I got my first Blue model of this)

Good pencil, I have the slim version which is really good but I recently bought this because I thought the slim was a little too slim for my hand... but now that I have this, my writing is really easy. I think that the grip, if you don't squish it too much, it WILL NOT rip but if you keep playing with it and squishing it it will eventually rip. Luckily I don't get into the habit of doing that, and if you don't either then this pencil is right for you! :)

Good pencil.

My pencil had a malfunction and kind of broke (the regular lead advancement doesn't work so I have to shake it). But that might have been my mistake.

Otherwise, its good the grip is nice and squishy (maybe a little too squishy).

I recommend buying the alpha gel kuru toga pencil though, it is 100x better.

I love this pencil. It is gentle on my writing finger, and the lead is very smooth. I also like that I can shake the pencil to get the lead to drop down.
