If you think that the fat alpha gel is to fat for your liking, and you can live
without the shaker, then this is recommended for you, but if you think the
shaker is what makes Alpha Gels high quality, or if you think it is necessary,
then it is not recommended for you. For some reason, I think the skinny alpha
gel has a greater writing feel to it, and the grip is super squishy. It is also
a bit more expensive than the fat ones that also shake which surprises me, but
the writing feel makes up for it.

This pencil is light and feels balanced in your hand. It writes smoothly on both
Kokuyo paper and cheaper loose-leaf. The grip is exceedingly comfortable. I
actually prefer this one to the fatter A-Gel Shaka Shaker, because I feel like
it's easier to achieve precision with, although because it's a slimmer, lighter
pencil, I have to press a bit harder (normally I have a VERY light grip).
I just love the blue grip colour and the blue accents. It compliments the metal
sheen of the pencil very well. It's definitely a sexy-looking pencil and I've
already gotten compliments on it without even exposing it overtly.
I ordered the green one as well and I'm super excited! ^^
