Uni Hard Lock 3 Color Ballpoint Multi Pen - 0.7 mm - Blue Body

I haven't had the Hard Lock pen too long, but my initial impression is that it will do a great job for my purposes. As a teacher (math and shop), I like to switch ink colors throughout the day and am looking forward to EDCing only one pen in lieu of 4 different pens.

In the same order from JetPens.com, my purchase included a Uni-ball multi 4+1. The jetstream ink in the latter is more impressive, but the Hard Lock Pen ink is fine as well. As another posting suggested, the inks can be switched so that jetstream ink; can fit into the Hard Lock. My typical writing requirements aren't too intense so I'll just use the original Hard Lock ink for now.

In the future, I'll likely switch out to jetstream ink. Regarding durability, my concern is that I'll sit on the pen and crush it. That's not the fault of the pen. Rather, my stupidity will cause this to occur! The Hard Lock latch is definitely a great attribute for those who don't like their writing utensils flopping around on their shirt (blouse, apron, etc...).

Your only debate at this stage for the Hard Lock Uni-ball should be your color choice. Blue is my choice because I like blue! ENJOY!!!!!

AND......if you put the jetstream multipen refills in it you've got a multi-colored jetstream pen with a really cool lock on it! That's what I did and it writes wonderfully.

LOVE, LOVE this pen! Writes really nicely, smooth ink flow, comfy grip & the locking mechanism is AWESOME! It really does lock the clip down tight. Absolutely a keeper!!
