This is my absolute favorite...

This is my absolute favorite note-taking pen. Smooth, comfortable and cute, this pen has not failed me yet--excluding the one time I used up all the ink. When it comes to ballpoint pens, I am very picky. It has to write flawlessly with no clumping, and no sticking. And this is one of the only pens that does just that. This is definitely the smoothest ballpoint pen you will ever find in its size. I originally started out with a 0.5mm, but once this bad boy 0.38mm came out, I can't stop myself. Right now, I currently own 5--two in my pencil bag, three in my pen cup at home.
Tips for ballpoint pens: If your ball point pen stops working, try scribbling on the bottom of your shoe. Sometimes the ball in the tip gets stuck with dry or clumpy ink and the paper itself is not enough to get it started again. Trying a different medium, like the rubber sole of a shoe, might have enough friction to get you back on your happy pen way.
Enjoy

I never thought I would like a ballpoint pen! It writes so smooth and does not skip or scratch. Though I think because it is a ballpoint pen so I do find myself putting a little bit more pressure with this pen than I do with gel pens, so my hands do cramp up after long usage.

Gorgeous pen. Just make sure you want a really fine line! The .38 is crazy fine - I didn't realize it would be such a thin line that it puts done. Great and smooth for really tiny writing though. Just too fine for an enjoyable everyday pen.
