If you like the fineness of your 0.5 Jetstream, give the thinner 0.38mm a try. I love this new Jetstream in 0.38mm. It writes smoothly and you can write SO TINY, even smaller than the .5 (well, duh) and there's none of the "false starts" skipping when your first mark to paper is a tiny mark. And omg! I already lost mine that I bought two weeks ago, probably to a co-worker--so I just bought several more of these in 0.38mm! Also note that blue & black refills are available now in 0.38mm, so you can customize your Jetstreams, match the sky blue pen body to blue ink, for example...that's what I'm doing. :)

i was really surprised at how small a point this pen has. usually when i get gel like pens in micro point they don't write that smooth, but this one is incredibly smooth and precise.

This pen writes VERY smoothly, and the grip is soft yet sturdy, and feels good to hold. I use this pen to write notes, and my hand hasn't cramped up once. Great pen~! You should get it ^^

I am not a 0.38 person, I normally go for 0.5 and occasionally 0.7. I took a chance with this based on other reviews and I am so pleased! It writes so smooth! I also couldn't believe that this was really ballpoint! It's so clean and crisp, and the ink flows like a gel. So impressive. Give it a try even if you're not into .38. This will be useful for when I need to write small notes or annotations.

I really appreciate how finely tipped this pen is, but it writes too much like a rollerball pen for my liking. I prefer ballpoint pens that use thicker ink. It writes smoothly, though, and a lot of people have told me they like the way this pen writes.
