This review is from Uni Live Pigment Sign Pen - Fine - Black
This pen is excellent! I'm a designer and was looking for a bolder pen for rapid
sketching and writing neatly on stickies. I wouldn't call it a "fine" line
though; it makes a line that's just a bit thinner than a Sharpie's. But unlike a
Sharpie, it doesn't bleed through paper and it doesn't smell like you're going
to get high from using it!
I use it on the Mnemosyne notebooks, which are in-between matte and glossy, and
I don't have any of the issues described by the other reviewer.
I'm looking forward to trying their "very fine" version of the pen and seeing if
it's equally useful.

For the most part, I like the appearance of this pen. Shiny gold and charcoal
black always make a great pair. What I don't This pen makes a rich, dark line,
but it's not what I would consider a "fine" line. It's more of a medium width to
my eyes. Also, it doesn't mark on glossy or even semi-glossy surfaces without
smearing all over the place. I assumed that this pen would work well on many
surfaces because its called the "pigment sign pen," but really, it probably
shouldn't be used to sign yearbooks and stuff.

This may be my new favorite...., April 1, 2013

This may be my new favorite. For years, I used the PMOP 860 (AKA original
Flair), and was quite unhappy when they were discontinued in the US - I even
went as far as ordering them from Europe. I have tried every "similar" felt tip
I can find to replace my old favorite, and this pen is the closest I've found as
far as the nib and the feel of it, plus the barrel design is actually a bit
better. I've already asked my office manager to order these in bulk for us.

This review is from Uni Live Pigment Sign Pen - Extra Fine - Black
This is a great pen with a porous tip. You can use it to get a thin and then
thick line by pressing harder which I love because I use it to sketch with.
Love the fact that it's permanent and can be used with watercolor. Great to
doodle and draw with and I would be great for note taking. A wonderful all
around pen with a nice line weight.
