This lead holder is perfect for drafting, construction, drawing, and design! It's easy to use and features a simple design that doesn't tire your hand even after a long period of use. It also comes with a removable clip. The clutch has a strong grip on the lead, preventing the lead from wobbling as you draw. Varying cap colors for the different lead grades help you easily identify the lead holder you need. In addition, the No Mark holder is not marked with a lead grade, giving you flexibility to switch lead grades for the holder. The Red holder with no lead grade mark is meant for red lead.

Holders for the following lead grades are available, listed from softest to hardest: 4B, 3B, 2B, B, HB, F, H, 2H, 3H, and 4H. A holder for red lead is also available.

One 2 mm 4B lead is included.

Compared to my other lead holder (Staedtler 925) this one is significantly lighter so there's less hand fatigue from using it for several hours straight, though it doesn't feel as high quality as the all metal Staedtler I actually prefer using this one now. Included lead is nice and dark and hasn't broken yet from pressing hard.

I wish these things came with leads that were softer than 4B.

First let me say that I have NO clue what a "lead holder" is and it's function. I have a voracious need to collect all styles of mechanical pencils, but had never heard of a lead holder until I found this site. Can you write with them? I'm just a little confused. If someone could explain the usage of these, I'd really appreciate it.

Thank you in advance!!!!!!
