| The tip is super fine...

The tip is super fine which i really love and holds up to a bit of abuse. It
doesn't bleed like other oil based ink pens i've used and the life of it goes a
long way. I love using this as a final outline for my watercolor sketches
(before and after the wash of water)
| The best oil based pen...

The best oil based pen I have ever used, bar none, and I have used them all. I
am using this for work on alternative surfaces like wood, etc, and and have
looked forever for an oil based pen that won't clog or 'gum up' on the surface
after drawing on it.
This ink flows beautifully and is a rich black.

Very nice fine pen. From my short evaluation, this could be a suitable daily
writer. This is a hair fatter than I would maybe like, but it's still finer
than my Lamy EF by a long shot. I write very small, sometimes 10 lines per inch
with engineering formulas, hence my pickiness. I would use this over many other
pens still, and the black is BLACK. Great pen, great price.
| I haven't had a chance...

I haven't had a chance to try this yet on many surfaces, but I can tell you it
lays down a nice solid line on paper that resists liquid based inks. I tried it
on a dry Rite in the Rain sample and it created a perfectly crisp dark line and
wrote almost as dark on the sample after wetting with no running from the
previous writing. I've found this paper typically works best with pencil or
ball point, and definitely not fountain pens or other liquid ink pens. I'd
definitely consider keeping one of these in a Bugout Bag or anywhere I may find
myself needing to write on a non-conventional surface. It does tend to lay down
a broader line on regular paper, but I expected that.
