I haven't had a chance to try this yet on many surfaces, but I can tell you it
lays down a nice solid line on paper that resists liquid based inks. I tried it
on a dry Rite in the Rain sample and it created a perfectly crisp dark line and
wrote almost as dark on the sample after wetting with no running from the
previous writing. I've found this paper typically works best with pencil or
ball point, and definitely not fountain pens or other liquid ink pens. I'd
definitely consider keeping one of these in a Bugout Bag or anywhere I may find
myself needing to write on a non-conventional surface. It does tend to lay down
a broader line on regular paper, but I expected that.

Better than Sharpies!!! I am converting from Sharpies, the oil ink in these pens
is superb. They are much more accurate and way less smelly than the ink from
typical felt tip permanent ink pens. I haven't found a glossy surface this
doesn't write to properly.
Caution is that the permanent ink is quite permanent!! I think I marked one of
my fingertips with this ink and it's still there after quite a few washes...

This pens writes on most glossy/photo papers that I've tried it on and drys fast
almost as good as a sharpie extra fine point permanent marker (my all time
favorite) with the advantage of having a finer point..However the tip is very
fragile and gets broken in two halves from the center giving u two lines when u
write after a while..for that reason I cannot recommend the 01 size..I've bought
over half a dozen of these and Ive had the same issue with them after mild use
for one or two weeks.

Great for signing the backs of bank cards! Absolutely no smudges whatsoever!

The tip is super fine which i really love and holds up to a bit of abuse. It
doesn't bleed like other oil based ink pens i've used and the life of it goes a
long way. I love using this as a final outline for my watercolor sketches
(before and after the wash of water)

The best oil based pen I have ever used, bar none, and I have used them all. I
am using this for work on alternative surfaces like wood, etc, and and have
looked forever for an oil based pen that won't clog or 'gum up' on the surface
after drawing on it.
This ink flows beautifully and is a rich black.

Very nice fine pen. From my short evaluation, this could be a suitable daily
writer. This is a hair fatter than I would maybe like, but it's still finer
than my Lamy EF by a long shot. I write very small, sometimes 10 lines per inch
with engineering formulas, hence my pickiness. I would use this over many other
pens still, and the black is BLACK. Great pen, great price.
