I love these pens, they are amazing! The tip isn't scratchy, the felt tip is just really smooth and the ink is definitely high quality. At the price they come at, I have made this my go to pen. Maybe it's because I'm an engineer, but I just love this pen and the nice fine, dark lines. :)

The Uni Pin line, being a technical pen and all, is on par with the Microns that my fellow Architecture students use. I didn't actually get my Uni Pin from this site, instead while shopping at a stationery store in Hong Kong a few years back. Needless to say, I wished I bought in bulk when I had the chance.

Pros:
Uniform line width, solid color
Useful steel guide pipe
Acrylic window on the cap is a nice touch, although it does get dirty
Loved the sleek, matte black finish and no-nonsense livery
Cheaper than the Micron line

Cons:
Tip is fragile; mine bent a bit, then retracted into the housing after significant use (around a year)
Labels may not be aligned perfectly with pen body - but hardly a concern

All in all, a great product. The logo on the pen changed slightly from my three-year old copy, but I'd still love to buy some.

This is a perfect pen for both sketching and writing that equals if not exceeds the quality of the micron pens. I like that pin pen seems to grip the page when you put the pen to paper. A very highly recommended pen.

In addition to being a great pen with a nice tip, the cap fit is very snug. Why do I consider this a feature? The pen ended up in the wash. I don't know how I forgot it, but I did. When I realized what I'd done, I went to the basement expecting to find a bunch of clothing with nasty black stains. Instead of ruining a whole load of laundry, the cap was still snugly attached. The spin of the washer and dryer had pulled extra ink out of the tip, which had pooled in the cap, but the cap had not leaked or flooded and my clothes were not ruined. As a bonus, the pen still worked after I'd cleaned out the cap. I will forever love this line of pens for saving me from my own absentmindedness. Unfortunately, someone at the office ganked it a week later.

I love this pen. Great flow, nice tip - for a felt pen fairly durable - and the ink is super black and stays put under a watercolour wash. It also does not rub off onto the page on the other side of the spread, unlike the copic ones I've used. It rubs off a little if you erase aggressively, but 99% of it is still there.

Отличная ручка японского дзайбацу Мицубиси. Вся прелесть тонкого стержя в прекрасной подаче чернил на бумагу. Кстати, даже на довольно тонком листе следа на обратной стороне бумаги нет - это прекрасно. При довольно тонкой линии, ручка пишет мягко и легко (ощущение, что в руках 0.7).

I love this pen! Very fine line, great ink (waterproof!), writes well, attractive. And a fabulous price! I'm going to get the other two sizes so I can use them for different applications. The 0.28 is a little too fine for my medium sized everyday handwriting, so I only use it for things requiring very small print.

Love these pens. I actually use them fairly often on a daily basis. They aren't just for artistic designs (my wife uses them for Zentangles), they're very good for ordinary everyday use. Highly recommended.

Very nice fine pen. From my short evaluation, this could be a suitable daily writer. This is a hair fatter than I would maybe like, but it's still finer than my Lamy EF by a long shot. I write very small, sometimes 10 lines per inch with engineering formulas, hence my pickiness. I would use this over many other pens still, and the black is BLACK. Great pen, great price.

I haven't had a chance to try this yet on many surfaces, but I can tell you it lays down a nice solid line on paper that resists liquid based inks. I tried it on a dry Rite in the Rain sample and it created a perfectly crisp dark line and wrote almost as dark on the sample after wetting with no running from the previous writing. I've found this paper typically works best with pencil or ball point, and definitely not fountain pens or other liquid ink pens. I'd definitely consider keeping one of these in a Bugout Bag or anywhere I may find myself needing to write on a non-conventional surface. It does tend to lay down a broader line on regular paper, but I expected that.

I highly recommend this pen as it is an excellent pen. This pen writes very well. I am ambidextrous, and oftentimes I write with my left hand; the ink doesn't smear at all. The fine point is sturdy and the line it produces is very fine and perfect for precise writing. The color is a true, not-too-bold red. This is a good pen in and of itself, but the price makes it great.
