Uni-ball Alpha Gel 2 Color 0.7 mm Ballpoint Multi Pen + 0.5 mm Pencil - Black Grip

Going to have to echo what everyone else has said about the lack of an eraser. Would have def added another star if it had one. The ink is nothing special and you are limited to black and red ink. This is odd given the fact that the size of the pen is the fattest of all my multi-pens and the heaviest. All the weight seems to be in the front grip. The Gel is nice n squishy. On a scale of 1-10 squishiness ide rank it a 5. Overall.. ide say go buy a Jetpen or Dr. Grip if you want an eraser.. the Jetpen if you want the best ink. Get this pen if you are a teacher who grades alot and can use the red ink with no eraser... or if you need a bit more softness in your fingers when doing lengthy writing/computations and dont mind carrying around an eraser and or another multi-pen.

It is good, but the the 4+1 is a way better pen to buy for the same price as this :(
I love alpha gels, but this is to fragile.

I was really excited and loved this pencil..
However, a week after I got it the pencil got jammed and I cant fix it because you cant take apart the pencil part.
soo I pretty much wasted $5 of the $15

This is a fine pen and pencil except for one major problem-- it has no eraser. The rubber cap on top is not an eraser--just a cap (I even tried erasing with it.) I'm sorry that I bought this pen / pencil because of that fact. Without an eraser, there is little reason to have the pencil as the major advantage of a pencil is that it can be erased!

What were you thinking, Uni-ball?? (Come to think of it, what was I thinking to buy a pen / pencil and just assuming that it had an eraser.)

This is a nice multipen although I must say I can't really feel the gel that much. It's not squishy, it is just comfortable. I can tell the difference between this pen and the Dr. Grip 4+1, only one thing would have made this pen better in my eyes! More colors! oh and a cap for the eraser. Or at least I assume that's the eraser on the back of the pen out in the open since I notice it is rubber. I'll never find out because I never use erasers, but I was a little surprised and was not at all sure what kind of thought went into the eraser on this pen. After all that makes it a non-refillable eraser and it means that using the eraser ultimately affects the styling and overall look of the pen/pencil. Anyway the eraser is why it only got 4 stars. Uni-ball could have put a little more thought into a refillable eraser.
