Uni-ball must have been so caught up making six different variations of this pen that they failed to put quality ink into this pen. The design and colors offered are beautiful the fine line is unarguable but the ink that comes out of these pens is so poor. For design this pen is a 5 star, however, it lacks a little weight and most importantly the ink can be described as dry, and cheap. I would have to say that one is better of using a regular BIC or Papermate instead of this pen since it doesn't do it's job in producing dark lines.
