in my grade at school there are two pencil nerds...i am one :) i love the uni alpha gels, they are so comfortable and nifty

really wonderful pencil. the grip isnt the squishiest, but it is shaky and has that lock/unlock cap. you can also unscrew the barrel (the metal part on the top) to reveal a clear casing. well worth the price

The grip on this pen "squishier" than it's Alpha Gel pen/pencil cousin. The ability to shake the lead out is awesome when I'm writing -- I don't distract my fellow co-workers with my constant clicking.

If I could, I would buy more of these pencils....but they are all sold out :(

It's so squishy! Feels really comfortable to write with, even though it's really thick in my hand. I don't like that you have to put the cap on to switch it to shake mode, and you can't use the eraser in shake mode, but it's a nice pencil and wonderful to use.

It is very good it has a good grip and i am buying at anytime. I have used it. It was from my friend and I like it but the grip rip easily. I am so happy that I can have it anytime.

When I bought this pencil a couple of years ago, I was not surprised at all by its comfortable grip. I had already experienced the old, fat version of the alpha gel. However, what really sets this pencil apart from the original is its thin body and shaker ability. The shaker ability allows you to advance the lead without changing hand positions. Its also fun to play with when you are bored. Another neat thing about this pencil is the lead retracting mechanism. By clicking the top down like you would with a pen, you can easily retract the lead. Great pencil overall and in my opinion, the best of the alpha gel line.

Great lead and shaker option and the clicking part is great
BEST part is definitely squishy grip.
But if you want really squishy ones,
get the HDs or tints
but if you want regular good lead, get the uni alpha shaka shakas!!!
btw--orange is not that good color

This pencil is sooooooo good. My grip hasn't broke yet, and I squish it everyday. I used to use the pilot G2 pencil, and after I used the agel, the G2 felt like trash. Overall, this pencil is awesome and the grip is so squishy. It is a bit pricy though, but i still reccommend it.

The Uni-ball Alpha Gel 0.5 series are quite good. Check it's pros and cons.

Pros:
-You can shake it to advance the lead.
-The grip is super squishy and will definitely relieve stress.
-Features a clip, cap, and eraser.

Cons:
-Grip will rip quite easily
-Clip, eraser, and cap are still basic.
-May not fit into some binders or notebooks (Alpha Slim Series are recommended in this case).
-The pencil jams at times.
-Quite expensive

Overall, this pencil is good, with a really great grip. But with it's bad grip durability, other performance issues that occur every once in a while, and high price tag, the Alpha Gel loses some reliability. Still, it is a great pencil.

this pencil is great andd all but when i go buy it it doesnt send to me and im still wait ing for it i have waited ovr 5months .i like chrome but they break easily cause there plastic

yay~! My friend just came back from korea, and she gave me and all of my friends these shaky pencils and i got this one! It is sooo awesome. but my friend does have alot of squishy and they do break, but, they had a nice life!

Good pencil, I have the slim version which is really good but I recently bought this because I thought the slim was a little too slim for my hand... but now that I have this, my writing is really easy. I think that the grip, if you don't squish it too much, it WILL NOT rip but if you keep playing with it and squishing it it will eventually rip. Luckily I don't get into the habit of doing that, and if you don't either then this pencil is right for you! :)

This pencil is awesome!!! I like fiddling sith the shaking part... but the grip ripsif you grip it too hard RRIPPP!!! Awesome pencil!

AGELS ARE ok not good, their grip breaks, amd it easily breaks
