These are so fun! I bought the American version years ago and loved them but they disappeared from the market place. So excited to find the Japanese version! Now I don't have to rely on colored pencils that need sharpening.

This review is from Uni-ball Color Mechanical Pencil - 0.5 mm - Rose Pink Body - Rose Pink Lead
I bought two set of them (totally 12) and none of them go with even one lead in it. The pencil itself is good but no lead in it made me disappointed.

This review is from Uni-ball Color Mechanical Pencil - 0.5 mm - Rose Pink Body - Rose Pink Lead
I use colored pencils to render artworks, and the idea of having a pencil that a) is always sharp, b) vibrant and easy to see, and c) easily erased was really appealing. At first I was unsure about making the purchase because it seemed like a lot of people were talking about how breakable and useless the lead is, but at $1.65, I figured it was worth the risk. Well, I just got it in the mail today and immediately tested it out. It is awesome, and I just couldn't stop at the thumbnail. I went to do a complete drawing with nothing but this pink pencil. It's so smooth and blends incredibly well. I was also impressed with it's spectrum in value. It can achieve dark darks and light lights, and I mean, it's pink. That's a plus in itself. Also, I had no problem with sensitive lead. I'm pretty heavy handed when I draw, and it wasn't an issue at all. I'll probably go on to buy more if not all of the colors. :)
