Uni-ball Fanthom Erasable Gel Ink Pen - 0.5 mm - Violet

Now you see it, now you don't! The Uni-Ball Fanthom is the latest erasable gel pen line from Uni Japan. Like the Pilot FriXion, it's thermo-sensitive ink can be erased by heat created from friction! Just rub the rubber area on the cap across the ink to see marks disappear like magic. The special shaped rubber end allows you to erase smaller areas with the tip and larger areas with the broader side. You can erase while the pen has the cap posted on the back, which is an improvement over the Pilot FriXion. You can rewrite over the same surface again and again, without messy residue from correction tapes or white out. Pens come in a nice thin 0.5 mm size.

Ink color disappears when temperature reaches over 60 C (140 Fahrenheit). Interestingly enough, the ink in these pens will actually reappear when the temperature reaches below 0 C (under 32 Fahrenheit). A freezer is sufficiently cold enough to make the ink start to reappear. It is like a magic pen for adults!

Because the ink in this pen is thermo sensitive, we do not advise for it to be left in hot cars, used for mailing, or subjected to a condition that exposes it to a lot of friction!
