The ink is a relatively light red, so it's not great for correcting stuff or drawing your attention to something you might underline in red. It's more of a fashion color than the traditional red pens. Still, I really liked the clarity of its clean lines and enjoyed the rarely-globby ink.

The pen is somewhat of a mixed bag, but overall I have had positive experiences with the Jetstream Color line. First, I love the relatively thin diameter and the fact that there is no grip. I love the white barrel color and the accurate barrel representation of the ink color. The plunger is springy and satisfying (perhaps my favorite part of the pen itself). One problem I noticed is that if you unscrew the bottom and screw it back on too tight, there might be a lot of tension and cause cracking down the barrel, as there was in my first Jetstream Color. (Just be aware and don't screw it on too tight!)

I love this pen. I am a fan of blue-black ink. I was hoping to find a ballpoint in that shade of ink. Uni-ball has done it. I love how smooth it writes. I plan to buy more.

Smooth writing, nice clean lines , and the ink color is great. I've been hoping that the folks at Uni-ball would develop a blue-black ballpoint pen. The ink color is dark enough to be photocopied, yet distinctive enough to use in an original document. Only possible drawback: The clip doesn't hold that well in your shirt pocket. Still, very much worth buying.

I love how thin the lines are and how smooth it writes. It's really awesome.

i'm in love with the look of this pen. i love the little squares on the bottom portion & the contrast of the blue with the off-white. it's a unique style that isn't typical of pens found in the states. the blue black ink also offers up a change to the black or blue ink i typically have to write with. it's got a great, smooth ink flow & perfect tip. one of my very favorite fine point pens.

I found these pens on a Korean Air flight coming back from Thailand. I asked the Stewardess if she had a pen I could borrow. It felt so good in my hand and wrote so smooth for a tiny ball point. I totally fell in love with it. She never came back for it and so I happily brought it home with me. Once home I jumped online and quickly ordered a few in Blue/black. These pens are awesome! I have had an issue with a couple of them though. They seem to have arrived with a flat spot on the ball or something. This has been a huge disappointment as these aren't by any means inexpensive. The looks of the pen are different from anything I would have bought ordinarily. They have since totally grown on me. I love the fairly plain design. I have never been a fan of fat pens so this fits perfectly. I also cant stand pens with grips as I tend to fiddle with the grip until it is misshaped and then it looks and feels like crap. This minimalistic design totally has me won over. It writes like a dream and I'm sold on it. I will say that most everyone likes them as my first supply has quickly dwindled from thievery. (What goes around comes around...LOL) That is why I am back on the site. Going for a couple dozen this time as I am moving out of the country and don't know if I'll ever find them in Thailand.

Even though it's scratchy, it still globs occasionally, although the globs are never really noticeable unless you look for them. Overall I had very little problems and was extremely satisfied with the clarity of my lines (when I take notes, I often have to write in small text and I don't like my page looking crowded).

I bought two of these pens in this color (light blue). And one in black and one in red. One of the light blue ones stopped working the same day I bought it. The other one is still working for me. The black one works wonderfully. These pens are probably similar to Uni Jetstream 0.5 pens, in the sense that some unexpectedly stops writing. But if they do work, they are awesome pens.

When I first started using the pen I noticed a rattling noise, which I think is caused from the clicking mechanism on top of the pen. The noise doesn't really bug me, what I don't like about the pen is how the ink skips. I'm not sure if it's the angle that I'm holding the pen causing the ink to skip, but I noticed a significant difference from the regular Uni Jetstream 0.5 pen. I wanted to try this pen out because of the slim body but I'm finding out that the regular Jetstream writes better.

This is a wonderful pen. I love the size and flows...some delays but overall a good pen.

One of my favorite and most used pens. I also have it in pink, and it gets regular use as well. It writes great and can do pretty fine detail for a 0.5mm ballpoint. I use both for all my writing as well as my drawing and doodling of ideas.

I've had good luck with many of the pens I've purchases from this web-site and even from Uni-ball...and I also realize that it's really a matter of preference when it comes to writing instruments. However, I have to agree with the only other reviewer for this pen; nice ink color, but a bit scratchy. I would love to see this pen in a .7mm version - I think that would make a huge difference. Even if you like a fine line, for some reason scratchy is all I can come up with for this exact pen. Too bad, because otherwise the balance, barrel, color and everything else is really nice.

I love the physical design of this pen! Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of the 0.5mm ink refill. I love Uni-ball's Signo line and I'm hoping with a bit of work I can combine the Signo refill with this adorable pen body.

Smooth. Clean and priced great. This is a fantastic pen. I gave it four stars because the grip isn't the best I like the design on the grip. Get sweaty hands so grip isn't the best.

Some people like this, but I didn't really know what I was getting into and came out unimpressed, unsure of the scenarios in which I might need a blue-black ink. I've noticed that it also tends to glob a little bit, but it's not too noticeable unless you zoom in on the text and read it closely. The 0.5mm tip is a bit "scratchy" but I didn't mind it at all.

The ink provides a nice bright light orange. Being a 0.5mm pen, however, it's almost unreadable unless you focus in on it. Still, this is more a fashion color than a serious note-taker or business instrument, so it adequately met my expectations.

I have several other jetstream pens that I love to use. I have to say I was a little disappointed in this one. It writes fine and I like the blue-black ink but I think the pen itself looks kind of "cheap" plus I prefer a gel or rubber grip.

This pen is a lot scratchier than the original Jetstream ballpoints as when I'm writing, there's quite a lot of friction. As for the colour, it's quite a lovely apricot orange but doesn't seem very pigmented unlike the darker colours in this series.

Nice pink color. A little scratchy. Not like my other jetstream pens.

This pen does write smoothly, however, the ink is not bold. The pen is slim, which I do like.
My mani complaint is the price, which really is quite high. There are other pens that cost much less.

I recommend this to anyone who wants a cheap, minimalistic pen which writes very well.
