Best broad tip pen from what I have tried (Pilot BPS-GP, Papermate Silk, and Papermate Profile). Reasons include:
- Ink is nice and dark
- Skips the least
- Does not goop

The Pilot BPS-GP comes in second, however, the ink was lighter and it skipped more often than the Lakubo. The Papermate Silk had the best ink color but it skipped and gooped up and the Papermate Profile had too light of an ink color and did not write as smooth as the other 3.

It does its job but not the best feeling or the best pen that I have used. Fine line and the ink flows out well, just don't feel very smooth and a bit hard to control.

I liked this pen so much that I'm back to buy more in different colors. Happy to find a comfortable pen in this size. Very smooth to write with.

Maybe I got a botched one? It writes with a drag - I feel like it's digging a trench into the paper's surface. Ink comes out a fainter black than most pens I've used. It may have to warm up but that's how it is out of the package.

i love the body of this pen...it's a shame it doesn't write better. the ink stopped flowing after a few uses and, despite my best efforts, these pens (all 3) are pretty much useless. even when it *did* write, the line it produced was quite weak, both blue and black.

The thicker the nib, the better I like the pen (helps with my penmanship, ha). But this pen has too much skipping in the ink going on. The ink not only skips constantly, but the color fade/brightness varies even within 1 word. Would like if ink was higher quality or at least didn't skip.

These pens are uber smooth (well they are broad tip pens after all). However, they smudge like crazy (I'm a righty but my hand presses hard on the paper when I write). So not recommended for lefties. But so far they are the smoothest pens I've ever written. I have changed to roller ball pens after this pen due to the smudging but none writes as smoothly as this one. Ink usually runs out after 25-30 pages of college-level notes.

the worst of the worst pens i ever tried

I couldn't get more disapointed and angry with any pen! This pen is 1.4mm! Ok, it writes smooth, but that doesn't mean they can be ugly,have a huge thickness and have bad quality! It has an awful plastic body and the less original shape ever!
. If you want smooth writing you can get Uni-ball Jetstream Ballpoint Pen - 0.7 mm, it's not too thin, but it's not a catastrophe like this pen.
Sorry JetPens, you are the best online stationery, but this pen is just horrible!
