Uni-ball has incorporated the high quality and rich wood from the whiskey barrels of Japan’s famous Suntory brewery and has given it a new life in the body of a writing instrument. Oak wood over 100 years old were used for the whiskey barrels, and the whiskey barrels were aged 50 years to create a mature and rich texture and tone. The wood was carefully carved out to create pen grips that display the wood's natural grain. Ihe beautiful oak wood grips are accented by gold tinted accents that coincidentally seems as if it's reflecting a whiskey color. The warmth of the wood goes well with notebook and leather accessories. The wooden girp reflect the natural imperfections of wood and the body is made of metallic plastic.
