Uni-ball Shu Pencil Lead - 0.9 mm - H

They may be small, but they are tough! Uni-ball achieved a 20% improvement in strength with the SHU leads. That translates into more durability (won't break as easily under pressure), more consistency due to the aligned graphite pieces, and an economic advantage as the even wear of the lead will increase the length of lead life.

One secret as to how Uni-ball achieved this was to improve the structure of the lead so that graphite pieces are uniformly and densely aligned within the core.

The harder the pencil the lighter the mark, e.g. Bs tend to a create darker colour that can be smeared easily.
