The BLX collection of Uni-ball Signo 207 gel ink pens features intriguing dark colors created by infusing black ink with color. The pigment-based ink bonds permanently with paper, resulting in strong colors and document security. It is resistant to chemicals that can wash away dye-based inks, thus preventing check washing (a common method of check fraud). The ink is acid-free, water-resistant, fade-resistant, and of archival quality. You will also enjoy a comfortable writing experience, due to the textured grip.
Dimensions: 5.6 inches length, 0.4 inches diameter (14.1 cm length, 0.4 cm diameter).
The ink is remarkably similar to the hunter green Zebra Sarasa Retractable,
which Jetpens sells. It is cheaper than this pen, writes better, and has a nicer
shade of ink too (the BLX is slightly duller/darker). Overall I've been
disappointed with the quality and colors of all the 207 BLX series except
brown-black, only because I haven't tried it yet.
Love this pen. Writes a smooth clean line with the slightest hint of green.
Writing with it is a pleasure. Without that, nothing else would matter. But
it's also acid-free, water-resistant, fade-resistant, and archival. You can't
beat that. Oh, and for less than two bucks. I mostly prefer fountain pens, but
I carry this around because it weighs hardly anything, I don't have to worry
about losing it, and I can write checks or notes and know they will last and be
secure. What's not to like?
