Description
JetPens has decided to carry the 0.5 mm Uni-Ball Signo DX in addition to our current 0.28 mm and 0.38 mm lines. This line includes the new yummy colors for 2008!

This Uniball Signo DX (UM-151) is claimed by some to be even better than the Pilot Hi-Tec-C! It comes in 0.28, 0.38mm and now 0.5 mm sizes, comparable to the 0.25, 0.3 and 0.5 mm sizes of the Hi-Tec-C. The barrel and tip are a bit sturdier than the Hi-Tec-C, which might explain why converts love them. Users can enjoy clean and even flowing lines, and the strong tips can withstand all the heavy handed writing you can offer. Like all our other pens, the Uniball Signo DX is highly sought after by artists and writers alike, but difficult to find in the US.

Ink is waterproof and specially formulated to have low viscosity so that it won't spread on the paper.

I like the larger size barrel compared to the Hi-Tec-C and Slicci pens. The rubber grip is nice, and it runs a clean line. I found that the ink is waterproof as advertised.

Excellent pen for note taking! nice, controlled and THIN lines, good size barrel, does not scratch onto paper, etc. This is my favorite pen for note taking for long periods!

I've been using this pen for the past few days after a recent shipment, and I have to say it writes like a dream.

I personally haven't had an smudging issues. It's everything I've been looking for: a decent grip, .5 mm line and smooth ink flow.

I just wish they sold them in the US.

Although the Signo DX 0.5mm pen writes more smoothly than the 0.38mm version, the 0.5mm Signo DX has certain issues with giving out too much ink when writing. Smudging is a real possibility when writing with this pen.
