Description
JetPens has decided to carry the 0.5 mm Uni-Ball Signo DX in addition to our current 0.28 mm and 0.38 mm lines. This line includes the new yummy colors for 2008!
This Uniball Signo DX (UM-151) is claimed by some to be even better than the Pilot Hi-Tec-C! It comes in 0.28, 0.38mm and now 0.5 mm sizes, comparable to the 0.25, 0.3 and 0.5 mm sizes of the Hi-Tec-C. The barrel and tip are a bit sturdier than the Hi-Tec-C, which might explain why converts love them. Users can enjoy clean and even flowing lines, and the strong tips can withstand all the heavy handed writing you can offer. Like all our other pens, the Uniball Signo DX is highly sought after by artists and writers alike, but difficult to find in the US.

Ink is waterproof and specially formulated to have low viscosity so that it won't spread on the paper.

Ink flow is nice; deep..., September 4, 2010
Ink flow is nice; deep color that doesn't blotch or skip. The one annoying thing
for me is the grip; it's positioned too high on the pen body for me to find it
comfortable, so I tend to have to hold the pen below the grip.

The brown-black Signo..., September 3, 2009
The brown-black Signo DX in 0.5mm is my favorite color and my favorite pen. I
love using lots of other colors for fun, but this is the one I come back to all
the time. I don't have any trouble telling it from black. It's a lovely dark
brown, with no hint of red, giving the impression that some black has been mixed
in with the brown. Warmer than plain black, but still serious enough for
everyday work use.

I am always on the look..., January 16, 2009
I am always on the look out for new colors I haven't heard of before or written
with, and this was one of those colors. Even though it looks almost exactly like
black, if you really look, you can see the subtle brown in it. Don't get me
wrong, it is an amazing pen and writes extremely well; but really, it just looks
black.
