I was really surprised the first time that I wrote with this pen. The line is really thick (maybe a little too thick for grading papers), but the color is dark enough, and the glitter shows up very clearly. On the whole, it's pretty comfortable to write with. It almost feels like writing with a crayon in some ways. You can very clearly feel the paper beneath your pen. The ink looks like it will smudge and bleed, but it doesn't. The ink flow is pretty good, but there are a few moments where you need to stop and adjust the angle of the pen.
