I bought the fine nibs and while they work great they are a bit scratchy when laid over a bit far. Certainly not a fault of the pen, more of my style of drawing. I do love the ink flow though, it's buttery smooth and lovely when laying down a line or dark area in a drawing.

Best.pens.ever.
Smooth ink flow, fine point. The only better pens I've ever used were the 0.18 uni-ball signo pens (which, sadly, are no longer made). If you drop the pens on a hard surface, yes they may stop working. But if you just use them at your desk, or somewhere that dropping risk is low, then they're *perfect*.

Great pens. There were two the were defective. One had no ink and another would not write. The others all perfect.

a really really really big let down. i have a bunch of these pens. and while they never stood out to me, they were the thinnest pens i'd encountered. i have tiny handwriting, so i just bought a few. i realized they worked okay, so i went ahead and purchased this set of 10 since i take notes daily. no. when i first got them, i was satisfied. thy worked, but they were uncomfortable to write with. it's like ripping your paper because the tip is so sharp and thin. the ink dries and skips ALL the time. i can't get through one sentence without it skipping multiple times. by the end of one weak, the ink was almost GONE. wow. and worst of all, even though there was still ink inside the barrel, the pen stopped working far before it got to the end. in conclusion, i'll say the pen is just OKAY, but sadly my expectations were not met. maybe i am not a fan of gel pens....maybe this pen was just not right for me.

For an artist, these pens are way better than the High-Tec C pens. They have a sturdy point, and they write exceptionally well over any graphite or pencils. The High-Tec C pens get kinda faulty when inking over pencils. They also dry fast and don't smudge.

I've made a terrible mistake!

I bought these pens expecting a sharp, smooth, quality pen that won't streak or smudge. While these pens won't smudge, that's about it - especially when they stop working! I've gone through half of my box already, wasting a good $12 so far. I'm really disappointed in these pens by how easily they just seem to stop working!

I hope JetPens will perhaps offer me some consolation, but I doubt it. For now I weep, and urge anyone else to not buy these pens if they expect to use all the ink before kicking out. 2 months in and I've been through 6 pens!

These pens are FABULOUS!! They are certainly much much better than the Hi-Tec-C's; the point is definately more sturdy, and writing with the Signo is like a dream. I am not exaggerating! Fellow pen lovers, do yourselves a favor and buy some of these extraordinary writing utensils!

well.......i am undecided on if I like this more than the hi tec-c, but i do know that I do like it very well. Honestly it has no comparison to the hi tec-c. This pen is very comfortable to use, and it writes very smoothly and clearly. i use this everyday at work. I tried using the hi tec-c, however, i bent too many tips! im glad i bought the ten pack since they have been sold out for a while.

Wonderful pens, they write so smoothly. My friends are envious of me for these! One draw back of these that if dropped on the tip of the pen, it doesn't write so well afterwards. Other than that, they are still great pens.
