Uni-ball Signo UM-151 gel ink pens, also known as Signo DX, are known for their smooth writing and exceptional ink quality. And, to everyone's delight, there is a sea of colors and tip sizes to choose from. Find the perfect pen for any task, whether it's writing meticulous notes, marking your calendar, or decorating your scrapbook with colorful captions.

Everything about this pen, from its solid construction to its carefully-formulated ink, ensures a wonderful writing experience. The sturdy tip does not bend or break, even with heavy-handed use. The pigment-based ink flows smoothly and is waterproof, fade-resistant, and feather-resistant. Much of that is due to special viscous properties of the ink. The ink is viscous while in the barrel, but as it passes through the pen tip during writing, the viscosity drops. This results in smooth ink flow. Immediately after it hits the paper, the ink returns to its viscous state, which prevents feathering. You are left with beautiful clean lines that you can enjoy for a long time!

This pen has beautiful "light blue" ink. Darker than Sarasa Pale Blue, lighter than regular Blue ink. The ink flow is always steady (& never smear! ). The ink dries quickly, so it is one of the best pen when you journaling. The quality of 0.38 mm pen tip & grip is very nice...I can write precisely without any effort. You don' have to use hand pressure when you write with gel-type pen! Also it damages the sensitive pen-tip, so please write with light pressure, people : )

this pen is much better than the 0.28 one and is as smoothly as the penal slici series, which is to small to handle. I would recommend this one better than any other.

This pen is a bit of a disappointment to the DX series. It writes almost like a ballpoint pen. Kind of reminds me of the Pentel RSVP. It takes more pressure to write with this pen than the regular DX in black. The ink isn't as constant as I would've liked. When writing a full sentence, some letters will be lighter and fainter than others. The pen doesn't skip, but there's just something "off" about it. I tend to like really really smooth flowing ink so maybe it's not really the pen's problem. Eh. This light blue just isn't for me.
